Hydraulics were an optional item on many tractors for many years so any given model from any given year may or may not have them. When live hydraulics became available many older tractors were retofitted with the new pumps. So don't worry about year, just make sure those tractors you look to buy have hydraulics available - and are working! Different parts of the country had varied requirements for instance in the cornbelt virtually all row crop tractors had hydraulics and PTOs not so elsewhere. Dick
