No tricks, just brute force. Take along your 3/4 drive socket set for the wheel clamps, and a can of grease. Grease the axle some, and once you have the clamps loose, rock the wheel back and forth as you are pushing in. If you have center to center dimension of the corn intake thingees (?), you should be able to determine how wide the wheels are set at.
