I used ordinary "sealing washers" from my hardware store. They are a steel washer with a rubber washer glued to them. The washer is slightly conical, the rubber washer is a tight fit on the bolt. It hasn't leaked in a couple years since I installed them. Probably about 40 cents each, don't exactly recall. Much cheaper than the copper, but not original by any means.
