Chuck, Scotty could be right about the space between each bolt hole between tubes, they are designed that way ...but if it is a cracked manifold you may as well get out your wallet because the tractor will never run right. The manifold will suck air making carb settings impossible and the tractor will always seem to have a miss in the RPM range. I put a new manifold on an H last year and the improvement was beyond description. I paid$190 Canadian for the reproduction manifold and I am very pleased with it...that H is now the best running tractor in my barn..starts in below zero weather, never stalls or misses....an old tractor collector friend of mine (over 40 Tractors) says a tractor is only as good as the manifold on it..draw your own conclusion..oh yeah, you can swap a manifold in less than half an hour and thats heating the cap screws with the torch so you don't twist one off...good luck from Mike in Exeter Ontario
