Sod -- I caught his post yesterday and we're in touch by email. He's probably about 60 miles or so through the mountains from me. I've offered to go up and figure out with him just what the problem is. If the tractor needs splitting, I'll have to line up some more help, but I'm hoping it's something we can get fixed from underneath. Never worked on an M, but it sounds like a linkage problem to me, and it ought to be a matter of taking off parts to get to it and fix it. He sure is discouraged and is still sounding like he's gonna sell and go after that W9. I hope he's over that and I can get a shot at helping him out. You'll know how we're making out if one of us posts a holler for some tech support! Scotty
