My 10-20 came from around Maynard MN, and it sure saw a lot of plowing, but my trans is ok. The hole in the drawbar is now an oval shape and the cleats on the steel wheels are wore back on the tips. the right side front wheel has the inside lip wore off from following the furrow.I plow with the ol gal in 2nd gear with a 2-14 little genius. I can't say it is a hard tractor to operate but you do have to plan your turns better than with a row crop style, course everthing I own has manual steering on it so I am used to using what most people would call hard to steer machines. My f-12 will turn circles around the 10-20, but if I have something heavy to pull , out comes the 10-20.I bet I can turn a figure eight with the 12 inside the 10-20 turning radius! Now an M is far superior in versatility to an F-12, but I would only say it is a little better than a W-30. It would mostly depend on what you were using it for. I did see an original ad for an M that said the shipping weight was around 5100-5200, or close to that.Course that was without water in the radiator, water in the tires, wheel weights, and any other goodies.
