Walt, thanks for the response. My fuel tank supports are castings. My throttle is on the mag side and is a piece of flat bar stock with sawtooth type notches in it to set and hold position. There are no shutters on it, but there are holes in the rad to mount them it looks like. A picture I have seen of one with shutters looks like it had a small crank up by the gas tank to adjust them. That location is where the sawtooth linkage attaches on mine so apparently mine had no crank. Mine has a small lever on the carb side of the tractor mounted to the gas tank support. I don't know what this could be for. My transmission shift pattern shows 4th gear all the way to the right and forward. Is this how yours was with road gear? What do you mean by full governor and what does it look like? My tractor has what looks to be a foot brake lever slipped over the arm where the steering brake spring attaches and extends under the axle. The one on the left side is missing. It is made of 5/8" or 3/4" round bar stock. Does this sound like a factory set up? Thanks
