I have a backhoe of another brand, but they're all alike. The creeping down is almost sure to be the seals on the end of the ram inside the cylinder leaking by. You won't see any leak. It's not a problem if it's not too fast and you don't forget and let the bucket drift all the way to the ground while you're driving along. I used mine for years having to reach around behind myself and pull it back up every few minutes until it got to be so fast as to be a bother. At which point I had the cylinder rebuilt for about a hundred bucks. Haas is right about letting it down when you park; the manuals will say to always let all the hydraulics off to park.
