I had the same problem with my 1206 and this seemes to be common with IH motors with this oil settup. Didnt leak very much, and seemd to quit leaking as the motor warmed up. I was told by a guy who had this problem with their 1456 and 856 that they tried replacing rings and sealant but it will eventually leak again unless you replace all the tubes and ends, which would get pricey. All I did was took the tube out, which took a little wiggling and turning, and clean the entire surface and ring with ether, which dries 100%, then spread silicoln on the surface. Did it last spring and hasn't leaked yet. Alot cheaper than replacing all those parts.
