JD I was talking to my dad about the 856 he had and how well it held up over the years. He had a big Koyker loader on it and did quite a lot of work with that, pulled a 5/16 plow, chisel and mounted cultivator plus did the row crop cultivating with it. When it sold at the auction it had a tad under 10,000 hrs. and he had just replaced clutch & TA (first time) before he decided to quit. He said they weren't slipping but thought he may as get it done. That tractor sold for almost what he paid for it too. His pulling gear was usually high first torqued as he didn't believe in shifting TA back and forth. Just goes to show how well these things can hold up if not abused.
