I think they were all pretty much all fuel in 41.The manifold probably broke at one time or another and the tank was taken off for some reason,probably to keep future owners from using it since without the kero manifold it wouldnt run right untill it got extermely hot!Both oif my 41s have a gas manifold,the hoods you describe and one still has the tank.
