806 hydraulics

went 150 miles one way to look at a ih 806 wf, 18.4x38's,diesel, needs rear tires soon (weather checked bad), has ta and works fine, needs pan gasket,3 pt worked until oil warmed up then did not work at all and there was no pressure to remote, oil very milky in transmission. tach showed 5700 hours but does not work now, neither does temp guage or fuel guage, can buy for 3500 dollars, but dont know what Im getting myself into with the hydraulics. hope some of you could give me your opinion on this one. its a 1967,last year made. paint faded but tin is straight. oil leak on external transfer pump. thank you
