Start laughing now but my dad got a 53 Super WD6 back in 1967 that had seen a lot of abuse. Dad and my grandfather didn't have any money so they shimed the axles with six inch spikes and hacksaw blades! We still have this tractor, a SW6 and a W4 . We don't farm anymore but use these tractors on 40 acres of wood lot to cut probably 15 cord of stove wood. A Farmall would be to tall in the seat and to tippy with narrow front axle!
