Slow 3 point hitch

Have a real problem with my 240 farmall, the 3point hitch is slow up and down but will hold steady where ever you put it! Is their a filter some where I missed? I bought hy-tran for rear end ! Power steering works ok! Whats it need! Thanks, and have a nice Sunday
