Hello Paul. The 22-36 started production in August of 1928. Increased power came from larger bore from 4 1/2 to 4 3/4, strengthened crank and rods, new head(larger ports)and added a water pump. Different intake and exhaust manifold. The dead giveaway to distinguish the difference between 15-30 and 22-36 without opening engine compartment is the bulge on left side of cowling. This allowed room for the two barrel carburetor. One venturi for water and the other for fuel. The web page mentioned earlier shows a 22-36 as representing a 15-30. 15-30's have all louvers and no bulge. Reference material indicates all 22-36 tractors were continued to be labeled 15-30s.
