The easiest starting tractor is the 666. I don't know what it is about the 66 and 86 series, but they are the best starting tractors ever made in my opinion. Only thing is the injection pumps don't run as long as a the rest. 4000 hrs or so. And the 666 costs a little more for overhaul because it is kind of an oddball engine, 312 I think. I've got a 886 with a D360 it's just a bigger version of the 666 engine.
