If your 500 gal LP tank for the house has a bottom outlet, you can have your gas man put a valve on it & w/proper hose, you can you can fill your LP tractor by gravity any time you want to. We used this method on both a 1,000 we had for the house & 500 gal we used for the hog barn. Talk to your LP supplier-if he's been around for a while, he can give you a lot of info.
