Dan, Pretty simple operation. Just loosen the bolts holding the pulley mounting flange onto the main housing and pry the flange out away from the main housing so the lube can drain out. Try not to ding up the gasket or else plan on replacing it. Let it drain. Save about a pint of lube from filling the rearend and put it in the pulley assembly through the round plug at the top of the pulley housing with a 1/2" square in it. The excess will drain down into the transmission. The pulley is lubed by the splash method from the gearing.//FB
