I'd suggest piping the return line to the drain plug on the belly pump. My experience with an M is that if you go into a Tee in the fill pipe, you will have trouble with oil bubbling out the top of the fill pipe through the vent. Somebody on this board had used the bottom return; I'm going to change mine over when I get time. I know there's a shut-off in the vent, but then it builds up pressure in the reservoir, and blows oil out the shaft seal.
