I had that problem on 2 Farmall Bs. I had to use a sealer and retorque when hot to solve the problem. The head gasket can be tricky to stop leaking. I used that coppers gasket spray. Otherwise, it could be the sleeve o-rings or a crack in the block or head. Was the gasket all wet when you pulled the head? That might be a clue that it was leaking. Does it leak just sitting there. You could lower the water level and keep checking if it leaks while it is not running.
