No it comes out the the ft. but there is a lot more to it . If you could find someone that has done it before it will save you a lot of headachs ,When you go to install it it is wise to set the end play as this will make it last longer and some time it takes a littel more in and out to get it wright. Plus you have to disasembal the speed trans and that also must be shimmed and some of this is not covered in the IT manual .
