The blades riveted to the bar that goes back and forth are the sections. They make bolts for them now so you can change them out with a wrench. The blades on the bottom are ledger plates - I hate those. You can get new guards without ledger plates from CaseIH, they last us about 2 years before needing to be replaced (figure 500 or so acres mowing in dirt and gravel on road ditches). Steven
