I have an M, not an H, but I think kind of similar. I guess you are talking about the counter shaft seal that drives the lift all. You have to take the coupling off of the shaft before you can get the seal off. The seal runs on the coupling, not the shaft. The coupling unscrews (counter clockwise I think, someone else needs to verify). To remove it, lock the tractor brakes,block the wheels and put the tractor in gear and then use a pipe wrench on the coupling, or if it is the "cross" coupling like the M has, a 1/2 inch square bar in the cross to unscrew it. It may be jammed on pretty tight, since the torque of running the lift all screws it tighter. As to the clutch. Yes, you can remove it out the bottom. Take the main drive shaft coupling loose. It has tapered bolts, so once the nuts are off, you may have to put a wrench on the bolt heads and pull pretty hard or even give it a few sharp raps with a hammer to break the bolts loose out of the taper. There are rubber washers in metal holders in the coupling that you may want to replace while you have it out. Take the clutch release carrier loose from the top of the torque tube. It's fastened up there with two bolts. Take the clutch fork loose from the cross shaft. It's clamped to the cross shaft with bolts that have two heavy washers in between the clamp ends that key it to the cross shaft. Take the cross shaft loose from the clutch pedal rod and slide out the cross shaft. Take out three of the bolts that hold the clutch (every other bolt) to the fly wheel. Put washers on them and reinstall them in the holes that have no bolts. This will compress the clutch springs, releasing the clutch disk. Then take out the other three bolts that hold the clutch to the flywheel. You can now tilt the main drive shaft and take it out of the clutch plate and then take the clutch out. As I said, these instruction are from my experience on the M, but I think the H is about the same, except there is more room than on the M.
