A couple of weeks ago I broke the gear off of the PTO shaft while bush hogging. I was able to fix the shaft using parts from my parts H. I beleive veryone should have a couple of parts tractors in their yard (guess that's why I'm divorced). I put 2 new seals in it, they are cheep and there was pleanty of room. I took the opportunity to wash out the bull gear cavity with kerosene, got lots of little gear bits out of it. I then went over to the bush hog and took a close look at the clutch. I'll bet you guessed it, it's rusted tight. If I would have checked that first... well you know. Atleast the old 44'H got new seals and fresh oil. Happy Tractorin, Jon M.
