A few things to look at on a disk and plow are: check the bearings on the disk shaft check the blades for looseness and cracks A rusty moldboard on the plow will not scour and they can be difficult to get shined up. Always grease your moldboards when you get done plowing. If you don't plan on using it for a year or more you should clean the grease off and paint them to prevent rust.
