Sticker Idea, for serial # tag

I own a SM-TA and the serial # tag is worn clean except for the serial number, which is only legible from about 4" or so. I know they sell replacment tags, but in my opinion I don't think the tag should be tampered with. Hence I propose a sticker of clear & black material resembling the original tag, with a clear rectangle where the number is. Maybe someone can pick up on this idea and make a few bucks. I'll buy two, what do you guys think? Thankyou for any response.
