Steve; The upper hydraulic housing on that tractor is (I think)almost the same as a B414. A common problem i've seen on them is to have the seal around the rod for the draft control linkage wear out and thet lets water run into the lower rear end housing. If you look at the back the tractor above the pto, there is a pivot bracket that the top link of the hitch attaches to. Behind this pivot is a spring and double nut at the top of a shaft that is about 1/2" diameter. That shaft goes down through the housing and there is a big spring attached to it under the housing. The rod wears and then chews up the seal and every time you wash the tractor or it gets cought in the rain, water runs into the lower end around the seal. That may be where the water is getting into the hydraulics. Don
