Bob, If your distributor has a stud bolt with a nut on it sticking out of the side of the unit where the one coil wire is attached it most likely is a IH distributor. ON the other hand if the thing has a wire coming out of a rubber grommet style connection (No bolt or nut) on the side of the distributor that leads up to the coil, it is likely a Prestolite. Another way to identify is the housing (end towards the radiator) has almost a sharp corner its a Prestolite where if the corner is more rounded then its an IH distributor.//FB
