A bit premature for this, but since I had to order a float and needle valve, got the serial plate in the same shipment.
It seems to me that a 1929 serial plate should read Model 15-30 with the drawbar rating of 22 and the belt rating of 36 rather than 22-36 as the model.
Am I wrong, right, or half right and they switched it around 1931 or so? Also was the model number stamped like the rest or was the model number intrinsic of the plate?
Just curious as it may be mute anyway: the combination of factory and 'historical' features on this would almost make 22-36 as appropriate even if it was never used by the factory. OTOH, I'm sure I could exchange it for a 15-30 plate if appropriate.
Finally, if everyone is stumped, I do know of an early '29 less than a hour away that has the plate, but I forget to snap a picture and can't recall the details.

On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
