A guy that I get my F-20 parts from has a F-20 with electric start and the last time I was there I believe the battery was mounted between the the steering colum and gas tank. It was sold from the factory with electric start. Good luck and I hope this helps. Mine is a 1937 and Im slowly making progress on it.
