My Blue Ribbon Service manual shows that it came with a generator/alternator with a remote voltage regular. Presently there is only a alternator on the tractor (looks like a typical mid 70's chevy alternator). I am assuming the resistor is need to work with the old wiring. I was hopeing this came as a kit and others had done the conversion. I require where all the wire's should go to check they are circuited correctly. Also you thought a HEI distributor might have been avalable in the later years. I wonder if I could convert my point to HEI? Does anyone have any information on this?
