This is a regular question on this board, you may want to search the archives for more information. I can't hear your noise to tell for sure, but a pretty fair amount of noise out of these tractors is normal. They use straight-cut gears which are very strong, but also very noisy. Every A. B, & BN I ever drove made noise. A normal noise will be loud in higher gears and get even louder as you go faster. In 4th, wide open, it will be loud enough to drown out everything but the engine. If your gears and bearings look OK, not damaged or worn badly, it may not be a problem. Make sure that the gear lube levels in the transmission and final drives is up to the check plugs. Do you know anybody who is familiar with these tractors that could listen to it for you and tell for sure?
