Hey, Indiana Boy, I want to say one thing: A FROZEN ENGINE IS NOT A LOST CAUSE!!! This is part of tractor restoration, and one of the many reasons I do it. Overcoming that challenge is perhaps the best thing you will ever do in life, trust me. Some days, when I'm with a few other guys working on such a project (ex. F20) and it suddenly "pops" loose like nothing was wrong, we all had the same thought. One person had a wrench on the crank and the other with the WD-40, myself with the maul and plastic block. I gave it small taps, and ( although hours later) all of a sudden the piston dropped down and the one beside it came up and the guy on the crank said "shit" at the movement. Nobody said another word. Straight to the fridge, and straight to the beer for a job well done. Sadly enough, we haven't touched it in a month. Hey, I still relish in that day, and I am already searching for more tractors with stuck engines. (no references, please. There are plenty of them out there, I really don't need help finding more.) Have fun, simply that. Whoever said that is right, if it stops being fun, sell it. Someone else has a higher tolerance.

We arrived hoping to meet up with a man we knew had over one
