I am not a real expert on them but have worked on one and the thing to check is the center bushings and just like the rest of the IH's the same stuff. And if you are only going to planter and apply andhidrous the the 3388 should be enough unless ya got one huge planter or drill. You can tweek it to 150-175 and should not hurt it , my self i sorta like them and that one has the 4 speed trans i like that better then the 3 speed .
