Stuck '53 SMD...Buy or Run?

Just found a SMD with a stuck engine. Owner parked it 12+ years ago when he found water in the pan-dosn't remember how much. Tractor is complete, straight sheet metal(flaking paint & rust), all three tires shot, no cover on exhaust. Dosn't look bad all things considered. I am concerned about engine & injector work - all the posts I see point to big $$$. The tractor is in Fresno County , CA. No price set. What are your thoughts? Thanks to all in advance.
