You might want to leave the RTV off of the gasket until you button it up for the last time. It is a nuisance to peel and scrape off when you plan to drop the pan after a couple of hours of running. If the bottom of your block is good and clean and you haven't dinged up the pan taking it off, a new cork gasket will work very well. Don't over-tighten those pan bolts! I tie one hand behind my back and use a 1/4" drive ratchet when installing pan bolts. They don't need very much to work right.
