Tom, Neighbor has an M with Charlyn p.s. with same setup as you described. The Behlen used a cam driven pump which was mounted in front of the distributer. Charlyn motor set under the hood whereas Behlen mounted in from of steering column. I decided to go with Behlen because the Super M we had as I was growing up had the Behlen. I'm beginning to whish I had went with the Charlyn instead. Everything is pointing to using a priority valve as Farmalldan advised. For the life of me I can't remeber our old SM having one. Nor do any of the old pictures show one. As many times as I helped put on the 448 cultivator and cornpicker I just can't recall seeing all the hoses one requires. Oh well, live and learn.
