The law suit was from a fellow in Illinois that drove his very hot 560 with corn picker mounted up to his gas barrell and filled it without letting things cool down, when tank on tractor was full it expanded & spewed out vent hole in original cap, caught him and machine on fire, not a good deal for anybody, anyway lawyers jumped on this and he got a big $$$ settlement, IH tried to correct this by triple vent cap that is being sent free.
