Do just as RPM says. Did my 300 twice over years, 560, Super A, Works like new. Don't leave it to long as the lever can come out of the 2-3 rail without taking it out of gear. If you are shifting on move as you can from 3 to 4, you may find yourself in 3 and 4 at the same time and bingo; BROKEN COGS. if you drop clutch out. I might add this problem of wear is often made worse by improperly adjusted clutch-TA. On first Farmalls with TA close enough on clutch adj., was not good enough.
