My complete overhaul kit only cost about $600 for sleeves, pistons, rings, and bearings. Plus all new parts for the head were included. How much of a ridge is there at the top of the sleeves? If it isn't much you can cut the ridge out with a ridge reamer and put new rings in. If there is a fairly good ridge I would put new sleeves in. Steven
