We found that about all they were good for was filling up with mud and spinning. This machine was impressive looking but was kind of like the first 460 and 560 tractors, not too well thought out or tested. We had final drive problems once or twice a year and the machine was very hard to work on, too much sheetmetal. Also many sprockets and chains. The newer machines went to belts and pulleys. We ALWAYS were replacing a bearing somewhere on this machine. One thing about the old 815, the cab was really decked out. All levers were chromed and the ladder was hydraulic lift. The unloading auger was hydraulic swing as well. The newer 815 had painted levers and a mechanical ladder.
