There were many good offerings below. Don't get frustrated if the key does not pick out easily. The worst case is to replace the ignition switch. It should cost far less than a locksmith trip and will come with two new keys. The keys on those tractors are not always the easiest to remove when they are not broken. The other posters did not say if they had removed that shape of key. Your switch may need lubrication or replacing anyway. If there is extra resistence from age or exposure to the elements you don't want to be like the other fellow who has dug out 3 keys.
