The manual overdrives in the 150s are a light weight transmission and are only rated for towing 3500#s. The old heavy duty 4 speeds (3speed with creeper) had a higher tow rating. Trailer brakes would be in order for towing the Super M. Slipping a $100 to a buddy with a F250 or F350 to tow it back might be the best money you ever spent. Besides the wear on the brakes and drive train pulling the Super M without trailer brakes could cause incidental damage to the seat fabric should someone pullout in front of you or a traffic light suddenly change. The result could be a gathering of the fabric or a discoloration of the fabric depending on how near a miss it is. Worst-case scenario you won't be worried about the seat.
