I've been told that the rims were galvanized from the factory, I'm not sure I buy that for sure or not. I painted my H's rims with Case/IH Silver Argent and I like how they came out.
The paint seems to be holding up so far, about 8 months in the Arizona sun. That will bake just about any aluminum paint in a few months.
I was just looking at home depot the other day and they had a spray paint called Hammermill (or something like that)and it was silver grey and looked an awful lot like galvanized metal to me.
