I don't know about the Texas Mesqite trees but in AZ them mesqite trees are mighty tuff!!!! I pulled the front end of my H way up in the air just trying to yank out a 1" sappling with my draw bar. They have roots going to china I think. Those grubbers look like they shear off the roots below ground level. I'd think a Catagory 1 wouldn't do much more than small sapplings that way. Besides I've had some mesqite's grow back after I had them sheared off below ground level. I tell you those misqite's are some ornery trees! And the thorns will go through any tire you buy!
