I agree with you Steven. I bought my first tractor this past summer (Farmall M) for just over $1800. That tractor is not worth that much in my opinion in terms of actual value because it is old and rusty and i have since seen many better, similar tractors being offered for less. But this one was at an auction and i got excited and kept bidding. at first i was mad that i paid so much cause it will take more money to get it like i want it. but after i got it home and me and my dad started messing with it i learned that that money was well spent because of all the enjoyment i have gotten from it. I would probably never be able to sell it for the total amount of money i have in it but i don't think i ever would cause it is so much fun to have. now i just want more of them. so yes, farmalls are appreciating in value in weyers cave VA because everyday i grow more and more happy with that tractor. keep on buying and taking care of old farmalls. its nice to preserve even a little bit of history for the future generations to enjoy. when i finally get my 1066, it will be worth a million dollars to me! jeff

"Run in the house and get me a...."as I open th
