I have just finished reading all the posts and the points are well taken. We all desire to remember our past as we live in the present so that we can leave it to our families in the future. I am luckier than most as my son now 18 was turning wrenches before he started grade school. He shares my love for tractors and wants to own all he can. We enjoy the country life that farming provides and at 50 now I am becoming tired of the office technology and ready to return to the farm. I dont know if your H will be worth $5000 but in the end will it really matter. Only if your heirs sell it because they dont share the same appreciation as you. And yes, I too want to collect a few more models in the future as my son will not be selling them....
