Had the loader off of the 1256 this week for repairs - needed a new clutch. Loader work tends to do that to a tractor, another $800 invested in the old girl. Works great now! Anyone have an idea of what this tractor is worth? It has 7200 hours, fresh clutch, TA is out on the low side, new rod and main bearings about 500 hours ago. No rust, no dents, and I think it is the original paint.
I found a place to mount my hourmeter on my H. Not visible from behind, right side, or directly in front of the tractor. Easy to see on the left side and somewhat protected from the elements. I know it's not a first class job, but this tractor is being built to be used.
Got chewed out by my Dad today for spending too much at the local CaseIH dealer. Spent another $200 for parts! Total tally is at $1200 including buying the tractor. Machine shop bill will probably be around $400 and a $140 manifold yet too. YIKES! I hope it mows and rakes hay REALLY good!Steven

I tried to use an easy out but it wasn't budging and I didn't want t
