The 340 is somewhat more manuverable than the M and probably has power steering along with a TA. If the 340 and the M were in equal mechanical condition, the 340 would be worth about $1500 to 2000 more than the M. But for $600 for a good three point hitch,$300 to 400 for Charlynn power steering and a $300 live hydraulic pump and $100 for a priority valve, the refurbished M will be an extremely functional tractor which will run for many years. Parts are easier to find for the M.
