Like someone else who replied, sometimes we have sentimental reasons for buying things. I did, yesterday, buy back my grandfathers 706, and I paid a little more than market value.
I have two Bs and I will honestly tell you you're going to laugh. I paid $500 for the first one, with a drag cutter, and $75 for the second.The first one was locked up, but it now runs. It's 12V, no attatchments. The second one's engine is free, but the tranny has a problem.
I've seen Bs sell here for anywhere from $800 to $1,400 depending on what they look like.
